Heavy rainfall and heat warning in effect for southern Ontario

Residents in southern Ontario should prepare for the possibility of severe thunderstorms starting today and continuing through Monday (August 5).
According to Environment Canada, the forecast could bring heavy downpours, strong wind gusts, hail and potentially isolated tornadoes.
Additionally, a persistent, highly humid airmass is expected with humidex values climbing 36.
Individuals are advised to stay well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day to reduce the risk of dehydration.

- Halton
- Burlington
- Oakville
- Milton
- Oshawa
- Pickering
- Ajax
- Whitby
- Clarington
- Hamilton
