Heavy rain in the forecast for Mississauga and Brampton this week

Mississauga and Brampton residents have one more day of sun tomorrow to celebrate the Victoria Day holiday before rainy and cloudy conditions roll into the area this week.

Today, a mix of sun and cloud with showers in the early afternoon.

This evening, a low of 8 degrees Celsius with cloudiness increasing as the night continues.

Mainly sunny skies can be expected tomorrow (May 23) with a UV index of eight or very high.

The temperature high for the day is supposed to hit 17 degrees Celsius, dropping to 7 degrees Celsius overnight.

Tuesday, more clouds and a high of 17 degrees Celsius. A 60 per cent chance of rain is possible overnight with a low of 10 degrees Celsius.

The rain continues into Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday with showers expected all day.

Friday evening sees the chance of rain lessen to a 60 per cent chance of showers with a low of 10 degrees Celsius.
