The Credit Valley Conservation is warning of heavy rainfall for Mississauga Tuesday (September 21) night into Wednesday morning.
A large, slow-moving frontal system is expected to move into southern Ontario, bringing with it between 40 and 60 mm of rain.
Further, possible thunderstorms could bring an additional 10 to 20 mm of rain.
Flooding of small headwater and urban areas is possible due to heavy precipitation, and low-lying areas along the Credit River and its major tributaries could see water levels rise above bank-full levels.
