Hamilton Police ask for the public's help in finding the suspect wanted in a shooting. Two people were shot and several vehicles were damaged.

Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down the suspect wanted in a downtown Hamilton shooting that occurred earlier this month.

Two males were admitted to hospital with gunshot wounds on June 12, at around 4:30 p.m. Several vehicles were also damaged in the area of Hess and Market streets.

The males are expected to recover from their injuries.

Police say Alexander La, 21, of Hamilton has a warrant out for his arrest.

He is described as a five-foot-nine, 154-pound Asian male with long black hair.

Police say the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
