Halloween and Christmas light shows in Mississauga and Richmond Hill

Take a break from school and work on these upcoming weekends, with two light shows to celebrate Halloween and Christmas.

The Spooktacular (Halloween) Light Show is on now until October 31st, followed by the Journey into Enchantment (Christmas) Light Show, which will begin on November 25th until January 1st, 2023. Both events are, and will be, located in the city of Mississauga at Meadowvale GO Station and in the city of Richmond Hill at Richmond Hill GO Station.

Be amazed by larger-than-life displays that can be seen from miles away – like the CN tower and firework light simulations.

Tickets per vehicle (up to 8 passengers) start at $24.95 for each separate event, but for a limited time only, you can get a ‘Halloween and Christmas Light Show Bundle’ deal and attend both light shows for 50% off.

Act fast though – it is limited and will be ending on October 23rd. To take advantage of this deal, use the promo code ‘LAST’ at checkout.

Tickets must be pre-purchased online, and during the booking process there will be an option to choose your desired time slot and day. Book your tickets now to experience both events with this current two-for-one deal.

Here’s what you can expect from each light show…

The Spooktacular (Halloween) Light Show

  • Offers attendees drive-thru convenience: This 2 kilometre route takes up to 45 minutes and can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own vehicle with your partner, family or friends. You can make this experience even more fun and spookier by dressing up in a costume and tuning into a radio station that will play haunted Halloween-themed soundtracks.
  • Pumpkin filled drive-thru tunnel + 2D and 3D displays: One of the main attractions at the Spooktacular Light Show includes its pumpkin filled drive-thru tunnel. This tunnel full of pumpkins and lights is sure to brighten your night. In addition to the tunnel, attendees can expect to see a variety of 2D and 3D custom-made Halloween installations.
  • Candy will be given out: You’ll be able to satisfy your sweet tooth at the event, as there will be a family-friendly Halloween character giving out treats to all attendees.

Journey into Enchantment (Christmas) Light Show

  • Also offers attendees drive-thru convenience: Just like the Spooktacular Light Show, you can enjoy Journey into Enchantment from the comfort of your vehicle. You and your crew will get up to 45 minutes to enjoy this 2 kilometre light show. To enhance the experience, there will be a radio station available to listen to famous Christmas and holiday hits.
  • Vibrant animated displays: There will be a variety of magical displays with over 2 million lights, including 2D and 3D installations. The light tunnel, one of the event’s staple installations, will also be there, brighter than ever before. Throughout the light show, you’ll also be able to catch displays of animated, beautiful moving flowers.
  • Live and interactive Santa Claus: Bring the little ones along and meet Santa Claus in-person. No matter what day you choose to attend, Santa Claus will be present – interacting with all guests as they ride along in their vehicles.

By purchasing a ticket to either (or both) events, you will not only be getting access to these incredible shows, but you will be helping give back to the community, as a portion of all ticket sales will be supporting SickKids Foundation.
