Gun and drugs seized outside a strip club in Mississauga, Brampton man charged

A gun and drugs were seized outside a Mississauga strip club near Pearson Airport.
Officers stopped a Ford F150 in the area of Cafe Atlantis, 5745 Atlantic Dr., for a cannabis-related investigation on Friday (March 9), Peel Regional Police said in a press release today (March 11).
In a search, officers found a Glock 43X in the vehicle, a large quantity of cash, as well as cocaine and fentanyl, police said.
Xavier Khan-Lewis, 30, of Brampton faces several charges including obstructing a police officer, possession of a loaded prohibited firearm, tampering with serial number, unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm in a motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by crime, possession of cocaine and fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, and having care or control of a vehicle with cannabis readily available.
Khan-Lewis has been held pending a bail hearing.
