UPDATE: Peel Regional Police say the missing 62-year-old vulnerable man has been located safe.


Peel Regional Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 62-year-old vulnerable missing man last seen in Mississauga.

Police say Pereira—of no fixed address— was last seen walking near the intersection of Derry Road West and Ninth Line yesterday.

Investigators describe Pereira as a white man who is 5-foot-7 and weighs 200 pounds. He has a heavy build, short grey balding hair, brown eyes and a grey beard.

It is unknown what Pereira was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

Police say Pereira may be carrying a black duffle bag and a backpack.

Both police and family are concerned for his well-being.
