Don’t call it a comeback — Greek Palace has been satisfying soulvaki cravings in Hamilton for years.

The popular Mediterrean restaurant is holding a grand reopening at its new Hamilton at 2200 Rymal Rd. E. on Thursday (July 15). The timing seems optimal, since indoor dining will become legal again in Ontario on the following day, when the province enters Step 3 of its reopening plan.

Greek Palace has long been a popular spot for Greek fare such as gyros, pitas, souvlaki platters and spanakopita. It was previously located downtown at at 26 John St. N., at King William Street. However, prolonged construction on John Street North, along with the COVID-19 pandemic, led to the owners packing up shop there.
