A gourmet doughnut shop from Toronto is opening a location in Mississauga.

Frenchie’s Doughnuts, which has one location near Kipling Station in Etobicoke, is opening its second shop at Heartland Town Centre, 6045 Mavis Rd., Mississauga.

The bakery is known for its artisan flavours and a “create-your-own” doughnut option. The doughnuts are customizable with various icings and toppings, made with fresh fruits and other ingredients.

The menu includes flavours such as tropical strawberry, cinnatela, apple pie and salted caramel.

The shop has “doughnut wall” catering options. A doughnut wall is a display board with pegs to hang the sweet treats.

Frenchie’s is named after the founders’ French bulldog and mascot, Mocha. The Etobicoke shop, which opened in 2022, features a display of French bulldog photos.

The opening date for the Heartland location has not yet been posted.
