Reduced GO train service along the Lakeshore West line will affect passengers in Mississauga and Oakville possibly until Thursday.
GO officials say trains will run every 30 minutes between Union Station in Toronto and Oakville, making all west Toronto and Mississauga stops in between.
Commuters are urged to check GO Transit’s website for specific details related to their routes.
The reduced service is to allow for an ongoing Ministry of Labour investigation into the death of a rail worker on Saturday in Pickering. Track repairs are also being completed.
There was a fatal incident Saturday west of Pickering GO with an on-going investigation. There are service and schedule modifications to Lakeshore East and Lakeshore West trains. Check your schedule at https://t.co/K67VuDNtSd

Officials with Metrolinx, which operates GO Transit, say Lakeshore West line service had to be altered in order to ensure service along the Lakeshore East line is available to commuters east of Toronto into Pickering and Oshawa.
Officials say they appreciate the patience of GO customers this week.
“We promise to keep customers and the public informed and updated on the latest information, including with the latest service-related information on the GO Transit website,” Metrolinx said.
