Gas prices going up for Christmas in Mississauga, Brampton, and Hamilton

Just in time for Christmas, gas prices are going up in Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, and southern Ontario.
Gas prices have been relatively low over the last month, but it’s expected to go up 5 cents for Christmas day.
The overnight hike in prices will bring the average price in the GTA to the highest point since the beginning of December.
The highest gas prices have been in 2022 was in June when it peaked at almost $2.15/litre and the cheapest we have seen it was on Dec. 10 when they dropped to $1.33/litre.
So, if you can fill up this evening, you will be spending a few more dollars tomorrow to fill up your tank.
According to gaswizard.ca, tomorrow’s average gas prices after the price hike in Mississauga, Brampton, and Hamilton will be:
Mississauga: $146.9
Brampton: $146.9
