A festival happening soon in Brampton is promising summer fun for the whole family.
Funtastic Family Fun Fest will take place on the weekend of August 19-20 at the CAA Centre located at 7575 Kennedy Rd, and entry to the festival is free.
This year the event has a wide range of activities and entertainment to enjoy: A reptile show, birds of prey show, circus performances, a science show, dancers, a T-rex exhibit, and princesses and superheroes for the kids to take photos with.
Other activities include mini-golf, pony rides, train rides, a petting zoo, rock climbing, jousting, and various sports including soccer and badminton.
Vendors will also have booths set up to sell food, clothes, jewelry and other items.
“The event attracts large number of families and kids to witness and be part of exciting array of activities which include live performances, shows, games, sports competitions and an amazing bazaar,” says the team behind the festival. The event was attended by Mayor Patrick Brown in 2022.
“The event is free and is organized in cooperation with local businesses and community groups.”
Registration is now open at the festival’s website for visitors, as well as sponsors and those who are interested in operating a booth at the event.
