A man serving time for drug and gun charges could be on the run in Mississauga, Brampton or Caledon.

The OPP Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) team says Rahul Sahota is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching his day parole.

The 23-year-old is currently serving a more than five-year sentence for drug and firearm-related charges including possession of a firearm.

Police say Sahota is known to frequent Peel region as well as Toronto, and anyone who sees him is asked to contact police.

Sahota is described as a South Asian male standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 150 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. He has several tattoos – on his left hand he has the word “Family,” and on his chest, he has a crown, clock and a money symbol.
