A frost warning is currently in effect for Mississauga, with ground temperatures expected to fall to near zero degrees Celsius tonight (May 29) into Sunday morning.
Frost is likely and may damage some crops or plants. Residents are advised to cover up their plants, especially in frost-prone areas.
“Areas near Lake Ontario and Lake Erie will likely remain a few degrees warmer which should prevent frost formation,” says Environment Canada.
