A new bakery café is set to open in Mississauga in the coming months.
Brian Egan, the vice president of development for Paris Baguette, said that the franchise will be opening a location at Mississauga’s Heartland Town Centre.
It’s on Mavis Road just south of Britannia Road West.
Paris Baguette is “a French-inspired bakery café with South Korean roots,” according to its website.
Egan said there are thousands of units across the world, with more than 180 in North America, six of which are currently open in Canada.
“Paris Baguette offers a variety of freshly made pastries, breads, and cakes as well as our hand-crafted Lavazza coffees, sandwiches, and salads,” Egan said.
“Our artisan baked goods are made each day in our cafes by our master bakers and cakers.”
Construction for the location at Mississauga’s Heartland Town Centre began earlier this year.
It’s set to open in the fourth quarter of 2024, but Egan wasn’t able to provide a more specific timeframe.
