‘Free shipping Tuesdays’ offered for some Canada Post customers next month

Canada Post is offering “free shipping Tuesdays” next month for some of its customers.

The postal service says that every Tuesday in October, customers who are a part of the Canada Post Solutions for Small Business program — which is free to join — can ship one package for free.

The offer is being made to mark Small Business Month.

Customers can ship one expedited parcel up to five kilograms, or a tracked packet — U.S.A. up to 2 kilograms, for free.

Promo codes will be displayed on the Canada Post website on Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29.

And packages don’t have to be shipped on the Tuesdays either — customers just have to create their shipping labels on a Tuesday, print them within five days and can ship them on another day.

The postal service said the offer is not available for Solutions for Small Business customers who already have a parcel agreement with Canada Post.
