Free outdoor movie nights are bing held in the neighbourhood of Port Credit in Mississauga

There has been a massive influx of outdoor movie nights throughout the Greater Toronto Area this summer, and Mississauga is no exception.

As a result, the neighbourhood of Port Credit has been utilizing its outdoor space to provide an environment where Mississauga-based families can enjoy the leisure of a summer night while still catching the latest releases on the big screen.

Rotary Movie Nights in Port Credit have been taking place every Friday night since the beginning of July — with plans to continue well into August.

According to the event’s official page, screenings usually occur in the late evening in Port Credit Memorial Park.

However, unlike other outdoor movie nights in the Peel Region, screenings held on behalf of  Rotary Movie Nights in Port Credit have no set schedule, meaning that those interested in attending are usually notified of the screening in the days leading up to the event.

According to information on the official page for Rotary Movie Nights in Port Credit, the remaining screening schedule for the summer is as follows:

  • July 26 (movie to be announced)
  • August 2 (movie to be announced)
  • August 9 (movie to be announced)
  • August 23 (movie to be announced)

Additional information on Rotary Movie Nights in Port Credit can be found on the event’s official Facebook page.
