Four youths arrested ahead of an attempted pharmacy robbery in Brampton

Police say they’ve arrested four youths following an attempted robbery in Brampton.
Around 10:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, it’s alleged that four suspects were operating a stolen white Nissan Pathfinder parked in the area of Dusk Drive and Chinguacousy Road.
“This vehicle was stolen from Durham Region on May 22, and identified as being used in three previous pharmacy robberies throughout the Greater Toronto Area,” said police.
“With the occupants donning masks and clothing to conceal their identity, police intervened and affected the arrest of suspects ahead of a robbery occurring.”
Four youths have been charged with Possession of property obtained by crime and Attempt to commit an indictable offence.
Police say one of the suspects was found to be in possession of an edged weapon identified as being used in several other pharmacy robberies in Peel, and was charged with an additional count of Carrying a concealed weapon, four counts of Robbery, and four counts of Wear a Disguise.
The identities of the suspects are protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
