Four international students charged in rash of car break-ins in Oakville, Ontario

Four men currently in Canada on student visas have been charged in connection with a rash of vehicle break-ins in Oakville.
Halton Regional Police say that on the morning of Nov. 24, officers began investigating a series of car break-ins in the Rosehill Drive and Shady Glen Road area.
Police say multiple vehicles were broken into overnight and that three suspects were spotted in a white Honda Civic sedan during the incident.
Police say those responsible broke windows to access the contents of up to 25 vehicles and stole a number of items including cash, debit cards and credit cards.
The debit and credit cards were used at various stores throughout the GTA, police added.
In the early morning hours this past Sunday, officers responded to a report of a vehicle break-in on Meadow Marsh Crescent.
Police say a white Honda Civic sedan was spotted leaving the area and was subsequently stopped by officers.
Gurparkar Singh, 19, Akshdeep Singh, 20, Kanavpreet Singh, 20, and Dilpreet Singh, 21, all of Brampton, are charged with mischief under $5,000.
Police said three of the suspects are also charged with mischief, theft and fraud-related offences in connection with the Nov. 24 incident.
All four of the accused have been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The charges have not been proven in court.
