A Buffalo Bills fan shot and killed outside Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Sunday night was from the Six Nations of the Grand River, located about 25 kilometres southwest of Hamilton.

Dylan Isaacs, 30, was killed following the Bills’ 21-14 win over the Miami Dolphins.

Isaacs, who friends say was a big Bills fan, was visiting friends in Miami when a fight started outside the stadium. The altercation ended with multiple rounds fired, striking Isaacs. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His mother told Buffalo news station WGRZ that her son was hit by a car during the fight. “When he got up, he tried to go after the car, and the guy shot him.”

The suspect is still at large, police say.

The Isaacs family started a GoFundMe to raise money for funeral arrangements.
