Another Brampton pharmacy robbed, at least five hold-ups in the last month

Attempted robbery ends with conspiracy charge for 2 men from Caledon and Oshawa

Three suspects are on the run after another pharmacy robbery in Brampton on Wednesday (March 30).

Around 11:45 a.m., police say they were called to a pharmacy in the area of Cherrycrest Drive and Queen Street in Brampton for reports of a robbery.

The suspects made off with an unknown amount of cash and narcotics.

A Peel Regional Police spokesperson said officers are searching for three male suspects who reportedly fled the scene in a vehicle. No descriptions of the suspect or the vehicle were immediately available from police.

No weapons were seen during the hold-up and there were no physical injuries reported.

Monday’s incident was at least the second pharmacy robbery in Brampton in the last week and the fifth in the last month.

Around 9:30 p.m. last Wednesday, a pharmacy in the Chinguacousy Road and Dusk Drive area of Brampton was robbed at gunpoint. There were no physical injuries to the pharmacy’s staff, but an unknown amount of cash and narcotics was stolen.

On March 17, a pharmacy at Steeles Avenue and Rivermont Road was robbed by two people.

Three men robbed a pharmacy in the area of Van Kirk Drive and Mayfield Road in Brampton on March 11, and just one day earlier two Toronto teenagers were arrested and charged in relation to a hold-up on March 10.
