Firearm located after road rage incident in Brampton

Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have laid charges against two men from Quebec regarding various firearm offences.

On Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at 11:50 a.m., officers responded to an alleged road rage incident in the area of Queen Street and Dixie Road in Brampton after a motorist called police to advise that a passenger in another vehicle had shown him a firearm.

Officers located the suspect vehicle in an underground parking structure and police say three men and a woman were taken into custody.

As a result of the investigation, officers located a shotgun and an imitation revolver.

Police say, Marc-Andre Labine Duval, a 26-year-old man from Quebec, was charged with knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm, occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was firearm and possession of weapons dangerous.

Police say, Alexander Laroche, a 27-year-old man from Quebec, was charged with knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm and occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was a Firearm.

Both were held for a bail hearing and attended the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.
