A fire truck and a police cruiser have collided in Brampton.
Details are sparse, but Peel Regional Police announced the crash shortly after 5 p.m. on December 12.
Police say the two first-responder vehicles crashed near Kennedy Rd and Clarence St, a smaller commercial area in the centre of the city.
The vehicles collided with enough force to flip the cruiser over.* However, no one was hurt in the crash.
Investigators say delays are expected in the area for some time.
*Correction: While police initially reported the cruiser flipped, they corrected their statement shortly after saying the car had in fact been “clipped” by the fire truck. The cruiser remains fully operational.
