Fire crews battle overnight blaze at a home in Brampton

Fire crews battled a large blaze at a home in Brampton overnight.
The fire broke out at a home in the area of Kennedy Road and Conservation Drive, Brampton Fire and Emergency Services said on X at 2:37 a.m. today (Dec. 21).
Photos from the scene show a home fully engulfed in flames with huge plums of smoke.
Peel Paramedics responded but there were no injuries reported, Brampton Fire said.
Crews were still battling the blaze around 3:30 a.m. and Brampton Fire asked people to avoid the area.
But by 4:18 a.m., the incident commander declared the fire under control.
The Fire Investigation Team was expected to investigate. There was no word on a cause yet.
