Fire breaks out in high-rise apartment tower in Brampton

Fire crews were called to an apartment tower after a fire broke out in the high-rise in Brampton.
Brampton Fire and Emergency Services says the fire started at an apartment building in the area of Queen Street East and Central Park Drive on Thursday.
At least two BFES fire trucks responded to the blaze and a photo shared by firefighters showed crews on scene at the Brampton high-rise.
BFES says crews were able to extinguish the fire and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters will remain on the scene to ventilate the building and check for any fire spread, BFES said.
