Fire breaks out at strip mall in Brampton

Firefighters are still on the scene of a commercial fire that broke out at a Brampton strip mall on Friday.
The blaze happened on Friday morning at a plaza in the area of Bovaird Drive East and Main Street North in Brampton, Brampton Fire & Emergency Services says.
Several businesses are in the strip mall including a PetSmart, Church’s Chicken, Booster Juice and Mr. Puffs location, but firefighters have not said where the fire started.
BFES says firefighters worked quickly to knock down the blaze and no injuries were reported.
Some businesses in the strip mall may be impacted by the fire, and firefighters are expected to remain on scene to finish clean-up and ventilation work.
