Fire breaks out at a business in Brampton

A fire broke out at a commercial property in Brampton overnight.

Crews were battling the blaze on Wentworth Court, Brampton Fire and Emergency Services said in a post on X Tuesday at 5:37 a.m.

Brampton Fire didn’t provide further details on the building but it is in an industrial area of the city, north of Highway 407 near Goreway Drive.

There were no injuries reported, Brampton Fire said.

Just before 6 a.m., the fire was under control, Brampton Fire said.

Officials asked people to avoid the Wentworth Court area.
