The popular web series Never Have I Ever which catapulted Mississauga’s own Maitreyi Ramakrishnan into teen stardom has officially released its final season on Netflix.

Following the cliffhanger ending in season 3, which sees Devi and Ben hook up— the new season picked up from that moment.

The intimacy slowly turned awkward and left Devi with an unpleasant summer.

With senior year upon them,  the crew had college fears, prom, complicated feelings, and goodbyes on the brain—which meant more tears but even more drama.

The last 10 episodes began streaming on Netflix on Thursday, June 8, 2023.

Many of the original cast returned for the show including Ramakrishnan, Jaren Lewison, Darren Barnet, Poorna Jagannathan, and Ben Norris.

However, Anirudh Pisharody, who played Devi’s new boyfriend, Des, in season 3, did not appear in the final chapter.

In his place a new heartthrob by the name Ethan enters the scene. The “smoldering bad boy,” is played by Michael Cimino.

The biggest question of all since the very beginning of Never Have I Ever’s season 1 was, who will walk away with Devi’s heart.

Fan’s of the show vocalized their support with either choosing sides with team Paxton or team Ben and its safe to say that season 4 ends with a real winner.

No spoilers here though. You’ll just have to tune into the series to find out!

Although the creators and cast have confirmed this to be the final season of the show, some viewers believe the story of Devi Vishwakumar — the Sherman Oaks High legend is far from over as her last two-words narrated in episode 10, foreshadowed the possibility of a spin-off.

Could there be a reboot in the future? We’ll just leave it at, never say never.
