Fiery crash closes intersection in Mississauga

A crash has closed a major intersection in Mississauga.
Shortly after 4 p.m., Peel police took to social media to announce that a vehicle drove into a pole in the McLaughlin Road and Britannia Road area.

A witness on the scene said an SUV rolled over and caught fire, bringing a light pole down in the process.
The intersection is currently closed in all directions while police investigate.
No information on injuries or fatalities has been given at this time.
