Female taken to hospital after being hit by vehicle at Brampton intersection

A female pedestrian has been taken to a local hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Brampton on Wednesday evening (May 1).

The collision between the vehicle and pedestrian occurred at the intersection of Fernforest Dr. and Peter Robertson Blvd. just shortly before 7 p.m.

The female pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital. The extend of her injuries is currently unknown.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. Police received a call about the collision at 7:03 p.m. and arrived shortly after.

Drivers should avoid the area as westbound Peter Robertson Blvd., from Fernforest Dr., is currently blocked.
