Woman shot dead in Mississauga worked at gas station

A woman attendant working at a Mississauga gas station was shot and killed last night (Dec. 3).

According to reports the incident happened around 10:30 p.m. at the Petro Canada station located at Creditview Rd. and Britannia Rd. W.

A customer who entered the station found the woman and called 911.

Peel Regional Police believe the 21-year-old victim was targeted.

A male suspect wearing dark clothing and gloves fled the scene on foot.

The homicide unit is taking care of the investigation.
