Family worried for missing senior woman last seen leaving home in Brampton

Family members are worried for the safety of a senior citizen from Brampton who’s gone missing as investigators are asking the public for leads.
Peel Regional Police say 66-year-old Mercilene has been missing since Tuesday after leaving her home in the area of Royal West Drive and Mississauga Road in Brampton.
She was last seen around 9 a.m. and may be driving a black Toyota Highlander, potentially travelling toward the York Region according to police.
Mercilene is described as a 66-year-old Black female with a medium build and short black hair. She stands around 5’8″ and weighs about 145 lbs, and was last seen wearing a white blouse and jeans.
Her vehicle is described as a black Toyota Highlander with an Ontario license plate of DAJB279.
Investigators and Mercilene’s family are concerned for her well-being and are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact Peel Regional Police by calling (905)-453–2121.
