Eye-catching purple desserts available at Square One in Mississauga

If you want to enjoy a unique, lavender-hued dessert in Mississauga, you only have a few days left. 

Purple Oven Bakeshop, a Filipino cafe specializing in cakes, desserts and pastries, is currently operating a pop-up shop out of the District Kitchen in the Food District in Square One.

The brand’s goods come in a variety of flavours, including chocolate, mango and ube (which gives the cakes and pastries that Insta-worthy purple colour). 

As far as specific menu items go, Purple Oven Bakeshop’s website says the cafe serves cakes (bar and round), pies, cupcakes, cheesecakes, cookies and dessert boxes.

The cafe also offers empanadas, loaves, ensaymadas and more. 

The pop-up opened up on Nov. 13 and will run until Nov. 19.
