Extremely hot weather in the forecast for Mississauga and Brampton this weekend

If you’re planning to spend a lot of time outdoors in Brampton or Mississauga this weekend, you might want to ensure you’re prepared for some scorching-hot heat.
According to The Weather Network, temperatures in Mississauga are expected to hit 29 degrees on Saturday, Aug. 21 and 30 degrees on Sunday, Aug. 22. While that doesn’t sound too unusual, the weather agency says it’ll feel more like 36 degrees on Saturday and 39 degrees on Sunday.
Monday, Aug. 23 will be just as scorching, with temperatures expected to hit 31 degrees but feel more like 37.

In Brampton, weekend temperatures are also expected to hit 29 and 30 degrees respectively. On Monday, Aug. 23, temperatures in the city will hit 32 degrees and feel more like 38.

So if you’re going to be enjoying the great outdoors during one of the last weekends of summer, be sure to bring lots of water and sunscreen with you and take shelter if the heat makes you or someone you’re with feel unwell.
Residents are also reminded to never leave children or pets unattended in hot vehicles for any length of time.
