“Explicit acts” involving dogs have led to an Ontario man’s arrest, police say.
Belleville police said Friday that on Nov. 23, they received a complaint from a male about the welfare of his dogs.
“The complainant advised that he shares custody of the dogs with his ex, but had evidence that the dogs were being mistreated,” police said.
Officers were given videos during the investigation “showing the suspect committing explicit acts on the dogs,” police said.
On Thursday, a 38-year-old man from Frankford, Ont., was arrested.
He was charged with bestiality.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 30.
