The City is inviting everyone to come downtown and attend the unveiling of the new Brampton sign at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 24 at Ken Whillans Square.
The brand new sign features gorgeous LED lights that are programmable with a full colour palette, which will allow it to be fully customized for occasions and events at the Square.
Bring your friends and family to get a first look at the sign! It’s the city’s newest tourist attraction and will be one of the best places to capture memories in Brampton.
Share your Brampton pride by snapping a photo and tagging @ExperienceBrampton on socials for a chance to be featured.
While you’re downtown checking out the sign, be sure to also check out the many other events in Brampton such as the Farmers’ Market. Running from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday until October 7, vendors are setting up shop at Gage Park and on Wellington Street to sell fresh produce, handcrafted goods and more.
Downtown is also home to live music via the Summer Music Series, featuring concerts every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in various locations like Garden Square, Vivian Lane, Gallery 35 and more.
From pop to hip hop to country, singalongs, R&B, and more, experience a new genre of music and vibe each week performed by emerging talent and established headliners from across the GTA.
There’s a ton of other events happening in the city as well, with everything from Blue Jays Sundays, heritage walking tours, and live performances to more fun events at Garden Square, festivals, summer movies and general recreation.
With some of the city’s best shops, restaurants, events and now a brand new sign at Ken Whillans Square, the downtown core is full of things to do in Brampton and is one of the best places to make lasting memories.
