Lamborghini gets impounded for street racing: Peel police

A driver had his vehicle impounded and his licence suspended because he was racing, Peel Regional Police said tonight (Oct. 23).
“Racing in #PeelRegion and putting our citizens at risk, once again, will NOT be tolerated!!,” police wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
Police announced that the person’s vehicle was impounded for 14 days and the person’s driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days.
The driver was charged with racing a motor vehicle, using a defaced plate and an invalid permit along with failing to surrender the permit and insurance.
Police didn’t provide further details, such as the speed the vehicle was travelling, as well as the location and time of the incident.
