UPDATE: Driver dead, another in hospital following serious two-vehicle crash in Brampton

One person has died following a two-vehicle crash on the border of Brampton and Caledon.
The Caledon OPP says the crash happened around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday on Mayfield Road with two vehicles involved.
Police now say one driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the second vehicle was transported to hospital for minor injuries.
No additional details about the victims have been released.
Mayfield Road was to all traffic between Creditview Road and Mississauga Road for serval hours while police investigated the crash. The roadway reopened around 2:30 p.m.
