Driver clocked going double the speed limit near Brampton school: police

Police have taken a driver in Brampton off the road after they were allegedly clocked going more than double the speed limit in a 40 km/h zone near a school.
Peel Regional Police said on Tuesday that officers had pulled over a 24-year-old male driver in the area of James Potter Rd. and Semley St. in Brampton.
Police say the driver was going 86 km/h in a posted 40 km/h zone.
Photos shared by police show a black two-door sports car loaded onto a flatbed tow truck in front of what appears to be Springbrook Public School.
Police charged the driver with speeding and stunt driving. The driver had their license suspended for 30 days and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days. Police have not released the identity of the accused.
