Driver clocked at 197km/h on 403 in Mississauga was ‘test driving’ car: OPP

A supposed test drive in Mississauga has resulted in the driver being charged with stunt driving and the car being impounded for two weeks.
According to the OPP, officers in Mississauga recently stopped a car they clocked travelling 197 km/h on the 403 near Erin Mills Parkway.
The driver of the car, who is from Prince Edward Island, allegedly told police he was taking the car for a test drive because his care ‘might be broken.’
As a result, police arrested and charged the man, suspended his licence for a month and impounded the car in question.
