Driver charged with death of victim after fatal 4-vehicle pile-up in Caledon

Police have charged a driver with the death of a 23-year-old Caledon resident killed in a four-vehicle pile-up earlier this year.
The crash happened shortly before 8 a.m. on Sept. 10 when the OPP says officers were called to the scene of a four-car crash the intersection of Coleraine Drive and King Street West.
One of the drivers, a 23-year-old from Caledon’s Bolton community, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The name of the victim has not been released.
Now more than two months after the fatal crash police say they’ve charged a 43-year-old Bolton man.
The OPP says Rajwinder Singh, 43, of Bolton, has been charged with one count of careless driving cause death.
The accused is scheduled to make a court appearance in Caledon on Jan. 16 answer the charge.
