Double shooting in Brampton; suspects outstanding

Two men have sustained injuries in a shooting that occurred in Brampton this evening (June 15).

Peel Regional Police responded swiftly to the scene at Williams Parkway and  Pertosa Drive.

The injuries of the victims are non-life threatening.

The investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

At present, the suspects involved in the shooting remain outstanding, prompting law enforcement to maintain a presence in the area.

Police have confirmed that there is no immediate threat to public safety. However,  commuters and residents are advised to avoid the area as authorities process the scene.
