The North Peel Extreme Medical Adventures (NPEMA MedVents), a Scouts vocational group, is accepting items on Saturday April 29 from 10a.m.-3p.m. at The Beer Store in Brampton at 198 Queen Street East.

NPEMA MedVents’s After Holiday Recycling Drive asks residents to drop off any donatable clothes and linens, most types of electronics, and any kind of alcohol containers to participate in the drive.

More specifically, they are accepting electronics such as pagers, radios, VCRs and DVD players, cameras, phones, computer cables, TVs, monitors, typewriters, electronic toys, extension cords, any kinds of computers, printers, fax machines, stereos, amplifiers, tuners, receivers, equalizers, and speakers.

They’re also accepting clothes, towels and linens for donation.

Additionally, they’re accepting all beer, wine, and spirit containers.

Electronics will be recycled and kept out of landfills, funds raised will be donated to the Canadian Jamboree in Halifax this summer, and clothing is being collected on behalf of the Cerebral Palsy drive.

If you need assistance to donate your items, pickups can be arranged by calling 416-455-1518 or emailing npextremeadventure[at]gmail.com.
