The dog days of summer are nearly over but there is still one day left that’s just for the dogs.
The City of Mississauga’s Annual Dog Swim is back.
People can bring their pooches poolside on Saturday, Sept. 10. The pools will be open exclusively to dogs – no people in the pool allowed.
The event started in 2019 and this year is at two outdoor pools – Lions Club of Credit Valley outdoor pool from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and David Ramsey pool from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Space is limited and people must register ahead of time and complete a mandatory waiver form. They must also provide proof of the dog’s vaccination and follow the rules.
Registration opens on Aug. 24 at ActiveMississauga.ca
