‘Disturbance’ leads to closed road and investigation north of Brampton, police say

Police are investigating and have closed a road in Caledon following what’s being called a “disturbance” on Sunday night.
Few details have been shared by investigators, however, the OPP says officers from the Caledon detachment were called to a stretch of Castlederg Side Road near Mt. Pleasant Road late on Sunday.
The OPP says Castlederg Side Road has been closed from Mt. Pleasant Road and Mt. Wolfe Road, adding that residents and drivers “will continue to observe a police presence as the investigation continues.”
Investigators are asking anyone who may have dash camera or surveillance footage from the area between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. to contact police.
