You can expect a mix of wintery conditions with chilly winds and a daytime high hovering above freezing temperatures in Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton and much of southern Ontario.
Some parts of the province were under snowfall warnings on Monday, and Environment and Climate Change Canada says to expect brisk winds on Tuesday of around 20 km/h gusting up to around 40 km/h in the evening.
Those winds will also bring a chill with a daytime high of just 1 C in Mississauga that will feel more like -10 C.
Some parts of the province like Hamilton and Niagara Falls could also see snow in the evening on Tuesday with a chance of squalls in the Niagara area.
Most of the GTA should be spared from the flurries, with no snow in the forecast for Toronto, Mississauga or Brampton.
Cloudy conditions are expected throughout the day with an overnight low of -1 C, feeling more like -7 C with the wind chill.
Parts of the province were buried by snow on the weekend with more snowfall expected into Tuesday. Highway 11 was closed in both directions between Huntsville and Orillia on Monday, and the OPP said it expects the road to reopen around 10 p.m.
The London area is expected to see intense snow squalls through to Tuesday morning. Accumulations of 30 to 50 centimetres are expected for locations near Lake Huron by Tuesday morning.
More road closures are likely and power outages are possible.
