‘Dangerous condition’ on major Mississauga street, say police

A suspected impaired driver in Mississauga contributed to what police called a “dangerous condition” on a major city street.
On Wednesday evening (Jan. 5), patrolling officer from the Peel Regional Police found a driver in a live lane of traffic at Dundas Street East and Universal Drive who was unconscious while behind the wheel. A further update stated that the driver was “taken into custody for an alcohol-related offence.”
Slight delays in the area are highly likely, since the police would need to call for a tow truck to impound the driver’s vehicle.
