Cyclist seriously hurt in hit-and-run crash in Brampton

A cyclist was seriously hurt in a hit-and-run collision in Brampton.
The cyclist was crossing the Highway 410 northbound ramp travelling westbound on Steeles Avenue just before 9 p.m. on Wednesday, OPP Const. Tim Dunnah said.
The cyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to a trauma hospital, Dunnah said.
Police later said a 33-year-old woman from Brampton sustained life-threatening injuries.
Police are looking for the driver of the vehicle that fled the area. At this time, police have not identified the driver or vehicle involved.
Police ask anyone with dashcam footage or information on the collision, to contact the Mississauga OPP at 905-858-8670.
