Man charged after boy sexually assaulted in shopping mall washroom in Mississauga

A 30-year-old man has been charged in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a nine-year-old boy at Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga this past summer.
According to Peel Regional Police, the boy was using a public washroom sometime in July when he was reportedly approached by a man who proceeded to engage the child in a sexually suggestive conversation.
Police say the victim and man did not know one another.
Following the release one week ago of surveillance photos of a suspect and a description, police requested help from the public in locating the man.
Police made an arrest yesterday.

Travis Alexander, 30, of no fixed address, is charged with invitation to sexual touching and sexual assault.
He appeared for a bail hearing in Brampton court.
