Cleanup is underway after firefighters say they were able to quickly knock down a fire that broke out at a home in Brampton.
At least three fire trucks were called to a home near Bovaird Drive East and Bramalea Road after reports of a residential structure fire on Friday, Brampton Fire & Emergency Services says.
A picture shared from the scene shows smoke coming from a second-story window with a BFES crew member on a ladder as other firefighters work nearby.
No injuries were reported and BFES says the quick work of firefighters managed to contain the fire and bring the fire under control.
BFES says firefighters will be in the area for overhaul and ventilation operations. Drivers may want to avoid the area and find alternate routes if possible.
